Freimeisterkollektiv has now developed eight different spirits together with the speciality coffee pioneers from The Barn Coffee Roasters in Berlin. We present three of them in this bundle.
VOLCAN AZUL 340 is a coffee liqueur that cannot officially be labelled as a ‘liqueur’ as the sugar content is below the legally prescribed minimum. The fruity flavour profile of the Volcan Azul coffee from Costa Rica takes centre stage. Nuances of apricot and dried fig combine harmoniously with notes of vanilla and cardamom.
GONDO AA is a coffee spirit made from a single-lot coffee from Kenya. The coffee is first extracted in alcohol and then distilled, resulting in a clear spirit with intense flavours of raspberry, blackcurrant and pineapple.
COLD BREW KAFI LUZ 507 is based on the Swiss coffee drink ‘Kafi Luz’ with plum eau-de-vie. This is where the characterful plum brandy from Lorenz Humbel, the Swiss master of fruit eau-de-vie, meets the finest Ethiopian coffee. Our modern interpretation of Kafi Luz quickly earned the nickname ‘Alpine Cold Brew Martini’ among fans.
